time. The best part is,

blog domains are free.
So the writer can just
post away without really
thinking of bills,
publication costs and
the like.
But like anything else
in this world, blogs
have suddenly
transitioned from just
being a writer's
paradise to a money
making site. Yes, this
can really be done.
Blogs can be used to
produce some extra cash
for your family. And for
a blogger, that is just
great! Imagine doing the
one thing that you
absolutely love while
earning additional
income.

1. Keep a blog that
focuses on one topic
alone. For example, if
weight loss is the
subject, then just focus
on that. If cooking is
your passion, then start
blogging about recipes
and kitchen tips. The
idea here is to build a
constant following from
your readers. And as the
readers increase, there
is more chance of being
noticed by huge
corporations. In time,
who knows they may be
contacting and paying
you just to have their
advertisement or banner
appear on your blog?
2. Get yourself
affiliated with a big
company and offer them
advertising services. Do
not advertise in a way
where the readers are
turned off. Being to
pushy will not help your
business. Since you are
a writer, this has to be
consummated in a more
subtle way. Well written
articles have to be
created about the
products which are being
"sold" and put in an
appropriate amount of
keywords inside your
article. This way, when
consumers search for the
product that is blogged
about, the likelihood
increases of your blog/
website being pulled up
on the first page. Note
that to some, this is
what would be called SEO
or Search Engine
Optimization.
3. If a more direct
approach is taken, join
several affiliate sites
or multilevel marketing
(MLM) sites. Start
making money by getting
a personal link for
yourself and putting it
in your entries. What
happens from there is if
your readers eventually
decide to be a member of
the site you joined or
if they decided to
purchase something from
your mlm or affiliate
company then you will
earn commissions from
the company.
