How to Trade Forex With
the Trend
There are dozens of
forex trading strategies
available to the trader
but most are worthless,
Actually, they are even
worse than worthless, if
followed they will lose
you money. One of the
best suggestions you
will ever get is to
trade a given strategy
on a demo account before
risking actual trading
capital. When you find a
proven trading strategy,
you should then put your
capital up and trade
slowly and unemotionally
- this is how to
properly go about making
money on the currency
market.
Now that we have that
out of the way, let's
talk about one of those
proven and effective
trading strategies. One
of my personal favorite
is also one of the
simplest ways of trading
the forex market. We
find the trend and trade
in the direction of the
trend. The old adage is
true: The trend is your
friend. This is also
commonly referred to as
"Momentum trading." One
of the most reliable
ways of finding the
trend of a currency is
to detect the trend by
trading a currency above
the 200 day moving
average. For reasons
beyond the scope of this
article, the 200 day
mark is the key number
for those looking to
spot the trend. All you
should care about is
that it leads to
consistent profits.
Probably the biggest
reason for successful
trading in regard to
currencies above the 200
day moving average is
because that is the
number that
institutional investors
have set their mark.
As I mentioned
previously, there are
many companies that
"claim" to have the
winning strategy or the
latest thing, chances
are that their claims
are bogus. The best
suggestion that I can
give is to recommend a
really reliable software
program. Test their
claims on a demo account
and go with what works.

on the forex market but
